Influence of copper nanoparticle incorporation on the structural, and optical properties of TiO2 nanoparticles
Abstract This study highlights the synthesis of copper-doped Titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) nanoparticles, with a focus on their potential applications in industry and contributions to modern societal advancements. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier - transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) were used to examine the structural properties. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) provided insights into the morphology and particle size of the nanoparticles. The optical band gap was determined through UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy analysed their electronic properties via emission spectra. These nanoparticles hold significant potential for use in catalysis, electronics, biomedical applications etc.
