Effectiveness of Mangkokan Leaf Extract Spray Preparation (Polyscias Scutellaris) on the Healing Process of Incision Wounds in Male White Mice (Mus Musculus)

Mangkokan leaf plant (Polyscias scutellaria) has active substances including alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, and tannins. Mangkokan plant can be used as a topical medicine for skin diseases such as wounds, fungus, and can also be used as an ingredient in hair growth. The purpose of this study was to determine how the preparation of Mangkokan leaf extract (Polyscias scutellaria) affects how wounds heal in male mice (Mus musculus). For sample extraction, the maceration method was used with 96% ethanol. Mangkokan leaf extract was made with concentrations of 3%, 5%, and 7%. The test animals used in this study were 20, each in 5 treatment groups. The skin of mice with a length of 1 cm2. was incised. One of the three Mangkokan leaf extract (Polyscias scutellaria) sprays worked well to heal incision wounds in male mice (Mus musculus), with a concentration of 7% faster than the 3% and 5% sprays. Mangkokan leaf extract also works well to heal incision wounds in male mice with a concentration of 7% faster than 3% and 5% spray
