INDUSTRY MARKET ENTRY BARRIERS TYPING: ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL ASPECTS OF AGRI-FOOD SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

Anthropogenic load on the agro-industrial complex remains one of the central topics of modern scientific research, attracting the attention of specialists in the field of economics and engineering. Effective management of agro-food systems requires the integration of economic, environmental and social factors, which will ensure sustainable development of the agro-food complex and guarantee food security. The typology of barriers for enterprises operating in the agro-food market developed by the author identifies managerial, economic, environmental and social, legal and personnel barriers, which makes it possible to more accurately identify and analyze each type of barrier, creating a basis for developing targeted measures to overcome them. The agro-industrial complex has a significant impact on the environment, causing landscape changes, pollution of water and air resources, depletion of natural resources and reduction of biological diversity. An example is Omsk region, where the agro-industrial complex has a strong anthropogenic impact on the natural ecosystem, which leads to land degradation: 12.1% of land is destroyed by erosion and 73.5% is subject to deflation. To minimize these negative consequences, integrated management systems are needed, that take into account environmental and social barriers, which helps maintain a balance between the interests of economic entities and the environmental safety of territories. Market barriers significantly increase transaction costs and reduce the efficiency of agro-food market. An individual approach to each type of barrier is important for developing measures aimed at reducing these costs and increasing the overall efficiency of the market. State agro-food policy should include measures to reduce transaction costs and improve interaction between market participants. Reorientation towards supporting and protecting the interests of agricultural producers and consumers will contribute to achieving the goals of global food security. Integrated management of agri-food systems, based on taking into account environmental and social aspects, is the key to sustainable development of the agri-food complex and ensuring food security.
