ANALYSIS OF THE DEPENDENCE OF QUALITY INDICATORS OF FILLING THE SORTING TRACKS WITH CARS ON THE PARAMETERS OF THE SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM OF THE CUTS

Purpose. The aim of the study is to investigate and analyze how the parameters of the distributed speed control system of cuts affect the quality indicators of filling the sorting tracks with cars when such systems are implemented at the sorting stations of Ukrzaliznytsia. Methods. A simulation model of filling the sorting track with cars was used for the study. The modeling of filling the sorting track with cars by variants was performed. The variants of the technology for regulating the speed of detachments on the sorting track were considered and further analyzed: the variant of targeted braking of detachments at the parking brake position located at the beginning of the sorting track, and the variants of distributed control of detachment speed by point car retarders located on the section of the sorting track after the parking brake position with varying the track slope and the density of point car retarders on it. Results. Based on the results of modeling the flow of wagons onto the sorting track, the dependencies of the quality indicators of filling the sorting tracks with cars on the parameters of the distributed speed control system of cuts were obtained and analyzed. The analysis of the dependencies showed that changes in various system parameters have different effects on the quality indicators of filling the sorting track with cars. The indicators themselves are imperfect. There is not a single indicator that comprehensively characterizes the quality of the process of filling the sorting track with cars. Scientific novelty. The paper proposes to evaluate the quality of the process of filling sorting tracks with cars by three indicators: the average length of the space bar per processed car, the average speed of collision between the cuts and cars on the sorting track, and the frequency of collision between the cuts and cars on the sorting track at the permissible speed. Based on the analysis of the dependencies obtained from the modeling of the process of filling the sorting track with cars, recommendations are formulated on what the parameters of the distributed speed control system for detachments should be to obtain satisfactory indicators of the quality of filling it with cars. Possibilities for further improvement of the system of distributed speed control of cuts in order to obtain better quality indicators of filling the sorting tracks with cars are also outlined. Practical significance. The results of the study can be used to make a decision on the feasibility of equipping sorting tracks with a system of distributed speed control of the cuts.
