Public Relations as an Object of Legal Regulation
The article attempts to revise the traditional point of view for Soviet jurisprudence, according to which the object of legal regulation and, consequently, the object of legal science are social relations. It is noted that such an understanding of social relations as the only object of law does not cover such phenomena known to modern sociology and political science as social states, public behavior, public organizations and institutions. It is argued that the regulatory and legal impact on them is not reduced to the construction of "legal relationship" known since the times of Ancient Rome. In addition, it is shown that the use of the concept of "social attitude" in many cases is speculative, which is comparable to medieval "chimeras".
