Photoredox Catalytic Two‐Component Radical β‐Fluoro‐Fluorosulfonamidation Reaction of Styrenes
In this study, a visible‐light‐mediated two‐component β‐fluoro‐fluorosulfonamidation reaction of styrenes is demonstrated. The bench‐stable reagent, N ‐fluorosulfamoyl‐pyridinium tetrafluoroborate can be used as a photoredox‐active nitrogen‐centered radical precursor and also as the fluoride source. This transformation can convert a series of styrenes to functional group‐enriched products, including substrates with electron‐donating or withdrawing groups, as well as di‐ and tri‐substituents on the CC double bond.
