Development of digital learning media with articulate storylines 3 based on students' algebraic thinking skills

This research aims to develop digital learning media that is expected to train students' algebraic thinking skills for continuous development. This need arises from students' low algebraic thinking abilities, alongside the necessity for learning media that can enhance these skills and motivate students in their studies. This study is development research that employs the R&D method to produce a product in digital learning media based on algebraic thinking abilities. The development of the digital learning media utilizes the ADDIE development model, which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of this study consist of: 1) media expert validators; and 2) content expert validators, who were involved as respondents in testing the use of the digital learning media. The instruments used in this study are questionnaires and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique employed is a descriptive qualitative analysis based on the results of the questionnaires and interviews. This research produces digital learning media in the form of an Android application which contains material on systems of linear equations in two variables (SPLDV) and is presented based on algebraic thinking skills. The validation results of media experts and content experts show that the media is suitable for use. Students' responses to the use of digital learning media regarding algebraic thinking skills show that digital learning media is easy for students to use, displays an attractive appearance, presents material that is relevant and easy to understand, and is effective in helping students practice algebraic thinking skills.
