High-capacity iodine adsorption from diverse media using iron-based metal–organic copolymer networks synthesized via a microwave-assisted Buchwald–Hartwig cross-coupling reaction
Fe( ii ) clathrochelate-bridged arylamine was made, revealing an outstanding I 2 vapor uptake of 15 g g −1 . TAC1–3 demonstrated notable I 2 adsorption from cyclohexane and aqueous solutions reaching capacities of 1.11 g g −1 and 5.95 g g −1 , respectively.
