APPLICATION OF STATISTICAL CRITERIA FOR ANALYZING THE SEASONALITY OF ACCIDENTS AT BASE STATIONS

In the era of rapid development of digital technologies and widespread use of mobile communications, high quality of provided telecommunications services is becoming more relevant than ever. However, quite often such cases as power outages, equipment failures, upgrades, software malfunctions and other incidents prevent high-quality and uninterrupted data transmission and rapid receipt of information in undistorted form. The article examines application of statistical criteria for analyzing the seasonality of accidents at base stations. An overview of the current analysis methods is provided. The advantages and disadvantages of each method are revealed. A mathematical model of this problem is deveoped using statistical analysis tools. An assessment of various statistical criteria is made regarding their suitability for solving the problem. A calculation with the selected Student criterion is performed and conclusions about the effectiveness of the method are made.
