METHODS FOR ASSESSING THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC EFFECTIVENESS OF THE INTRODUCTION OF TECHNOLOGY FOR MANAGING THE PROCESS OF ROAD DIAGNOSTICS

The article discusses the need to ensure the quality of transport infrastructure, namely highways for the timely transportation of goods and the comfort of passenger travel at the required speeds and compliance with road safety. The continuous improvement of the quality of transport services for cargo owners and passengers requires the introduction of new technologies that will make it possible to maintain highways that will be able to provide the necessary capacity. The general characteristics of the technical means that can be used to carry out timely diagnostics of the roadway are given, as well as the main criteria that can be included in the system of economic justification of the expediency of introducing modern technological solutions to maintain highways in working condition. The main results of using a software and hardware module for diagnosing the condition of highways are reflected, and a methodology has been developed to assess the socioeconomic effect of implementing a software and hardware module for diagnosing the roadway.
