AN IOT-BASED HYBRID MODEL FOR WEATHER STATION AND AIR QUALITY MONITORING
Climate change, rising pollution levels, and unpredictable weather patterns have made environmental monitoring a critical global concern.Traditional weather stations often require manual data collection and are not suitable for deployment in remote or rural areas. This paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based weather station and air quality monitoring system that autonomously collects, processes, and displays real-time environmental data. The system is built around the ESP32 WROOM microcontroller, which enables wireless communication and efficient data processing through MicroPython. It integrates multiple sensors including DHT11 for temperature and humidity, BMP280 for pressure and altitude, MQ-135 for air quality, an LDR for light intensity, and a rain sensor module.A 16x2 I2C LCD is used for local display, while a solar panel ensures off-grid power supply. The system is capable of sending alerts and updates via Telegram, making it ideal for real-time environmental monitoring in smart cities, agricultural fields, or remote locations. This solution
