Combining Dermatoscopic Imaging and Clinical Data with AI for Accurate Skin Cancer Diagnosis
Skin cancer remains a significant global health challenge, where early detection is essential for effective treatment and improved patient outcomes. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with diverse medical data provides a more advanced approach to skin cancer detection. This study examines the enhancement of diagnostic precision through the integration of multimodal data, including dermatoscopic images, clinical metadata, and histopathological reports, utilizing AI techniques. The proposed approach highlights the potential of combining various data sources to improve the accuracy and reliability of skin cancer diagnoses. Leveraging the synergy between these data modalities significantly refines the detection process, minimizes the risk of misdiagnoses and unnecessary interventions, and enhances the overall quality of care. The findings underscore the transformative potential of AI-driven multimodal data fusion, opening new avenues for precision and efficiency in skin cancer detection, with significant implications for global healthcare.
