Exploring quantum information in spherically confined positronium
Various information theoretic measures, such as the Shannon entropy, the Fisher information, the Onicescu information energy, the complexity, etc., are studied to understand the effect of confinement in a two-particle system. Here, we have considered confined Positronium. Positronium, being an important system for various reasons, has been explored in detail. The energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions have been evaluated numerically and are in excellent agreement with those reported in the literature. With confinement, the various information theoretic measures show interesting behaviour. The lower bounds established for different uncertainty relations still apply in confinement. • Information measures of Ps under confinement. • Variations of these measures with the confining potential are explored. • Confinement taken is either soft or hard wall confinement.
