Advances in Therapeutic Vaccines for Cervical Cancer: Innovations and Future Prospects

Introduction: Cervical cancer remains a basic around the world prosperity challenge, with Human Papillomavirus (HPV) defilement being the fundamental etiological calculate. Though vaccination strategies for the evasion of HPV-related maladies have showed up noteworthy triumph, therapeutic antibodies centering on existing cervical cancer remain a promising zone of examine. Afterward impels in immunotherapy and counter acting agent advancement have opened unused streets for treating cervical cancer, with a few creative approaches indicating to overhaul secure responses against tumor cells. These helpful antibodies are laid out not as it were to target HPV-related antigens but besides to stimulate the safe system to recognize and attack cancerous cells. Objectives: The objective of this paper is to explore and provide an overview of the latest innovations and developments in therapeutic vaccines targeting cervical cancer, focusing on mechanisms of action and efficacy. This review will cover various therapeutic vaccine strategies in development for treating HPV-associated lesions and cancers. Methods: The Secondary data were collected from the online database from 2000 to 2024. In the process, an attempt has been made to review some of the academic articles, research material, conference papers, material available in the public domain, and other published material on the subject. The research methodology employed in this study involved a comprehensive search of relevant academic databases, including Research Gate, Elsevier, the International Journal of Advances in Social Science, NCBI, and Google Scholar. Conclusion: In conclusion, therapeutic vaccines for cervical cancer represent a promising frontier in cancer immunotherapy, with significant progress in vaccine design, clinical trials, and immune response enhancement. Future agenda A therapeutic HPV-16/18 vaccine with optimum stability, safety, durability, accessibility, affordability, efficacy, and immunogenicity should be aimed at combating this deadly and growing public health threat. Completed HR-HPV 16/18 therapeutic vaccines and ongoing clinical trials should get space to be communicated and converted into meaningful activities. Furthermore, continuous clinical trials and designing strategies to develop immunogenic and effective therapeutic vaccines shall be top agenda items for the scientific community.
