RHEGMATOGENOUS RETINAL DETACHMENT WITH INTRARETINAL CYSTS: CLINICAL ANDMORPHOLOGIC ASPECTS, DIAGNOSTIC METHODS AND TREATMENT (LITERATURE REVIEW)
The paper presents a review of domestic and foreign literature concerning historical aspects and modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) with intraretinal cysts. The necessity of complex diagnostic examination of patients with this pathology is noted, as well as differential diagnostics with other pathologies. The review of publications included an analysis of advantages and disadvantages of surgical treatment methods for intraretinal cysts. Different tactics are reported regarding retinal cysts depending on their localization during surgical treatment of RRD. Based on the collected scientific data, the purpose of further research on the issue under consideration is substantiated. Key words: rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, intraretinal cysts, vitreoretinal surgery, B-scan ultrasound
