Adaptive Hybrid Active Disturbance Rejection Speed Control for Vehicle PMSM Electric Propulsion System Under Uncertain Disturbances

Surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is widely used for direct drive to provide the necessary power in the propulsion system of electric vehicles. Due to the complexity of operating conditions and strong coupling, higher demands are placed on the dynamic response of the motor drive and the ability to suppress disturbances. To enhance the performance of the propulsion system, this paper proposes an adaptive hybrid active disturbance rejection speed control strategy to simultaneously suppress uncertain non-periodic and periodic disturbances. The control strategy consists of two parts: a weighted hybrid active disturbance rejection control (HADRC) and a feedback adaptive resonant control (FARC). The HADRC is used to suppress non-periodic disturbances, offering both fast response capability and strong steady-state performance. FARC provides rapid identification and strong robustness against periodic disturbances, while also exhibiting strong anti-interference ability for measurement noise. Furthermore, the closed-loop stability of the controlled system is analyzed, and parameter tuning is performed. The effectiveness of the proposed control method is validated through experiments on a PMSM test platform.
