GOVERNANÇA E TRANSPARÊNCIA NO SETOR PÚBLICO

The public sector is present by offering services and public policies, which are the result of decisions made by public agents with representative power. To understand certain concepts of the democratic state, we first introduce the concept of Public Administration, which is the axis that guides the others. The central idea of administration is the correctly calculated action to achieve certain desired objectives. It is used both to designate planning and direction functions, as well as to designate execution activities. In this sense, high administration corresponds to the power of decision and transparency, which corresponds to agents with decision-making power who must make the right decisions and on time, in order to lead the organization to achieve institutional objectives. Administration and management are used as synonyms, however, administration has a deeper vision for structural issues and for planning the activities of an organization, while management focuses more on the transformation process within the organization, optimizing the use of existing resources and, in fact, seeking transparency in all its actions. Governance in public administration comes to add mechanisms that align actions with public interest
