JOHN HOLLOWAY - SUBJETIVISMO E CONTRARREVOLUÇÃO SOCIAL
This work has the purpose of theoretically debating the intellectual production of John Holloway, specifically two of his works on social transformation in contemporary times (Mudar o mundo sem tomar o poder – 2003 e Acerca de la revolución – 2012), their links with the episteme bourgeoisie and its contemporary paradigms and, consequently, the concrete limits of social transformation in their analyses. For this, we will resort to the Marxist theory of social classes and their struggles, as well as the theory of accumulation regimes and their hegemonic cultural renewals, in order to carry out a focal theoretical analysis of these works, realizing the influence of this hegemonic force on the way of thinking of this author.
