Editor's Note to article entitled “Quantitative comparison and evaluation between aerial and underground parts of Gentiana straminea through simultaneous determination of five major compounds by RP-HPLC”

An investigation conducted on behalf of the journal by Elsevier's Research Integrity & Publishing Ethics team has determined that the authors were requested by the reviewers to insert redundant references to their paper during the peer-review process.
