The main objective of the study is to analyze the concept of knowledge management in the context of digital transformation of the economy, identify key aspects and principles of effective knowledge management, and assess its impact on the competitiveness of organizations. The following tasks were solved during the study. The evolution of the concept of knowledge management and its impact on the development of the modern economy was studied. The main theoretical approaches to knowledge management proposed by leading researchers were considered. The stages of knowledge management development and its role in the digital transformation of organizations were analyzed. A classification of knowledge management systems by the main parameters was proposed: level of availability, type of stored information and functionality. The role of digital technologies (artificial intelligence, Big Data, cloud solutions) in knowledge management and their impact on the innovative development of organizations was revealed. The key problems and prospects for the implementation of knowledge management systems in the context of digitalization and the knowledge economy were determined.
