REVERSE ENGINEERING: RUSSIAN IMPLEMENTATION PRACTICE AND FINANCING ASPECTS
The Russian Government has outlined a strategic direction in creating conditions for achieving the country’s technological sovereignty. Sanction restrictions have increased the importance of accelerating the implementation of the set goal for domestic industrial enterprises. In this article the authors consider the conceptual approach of reverse engineering, which is in demand at the current stage of development of Russian industry in the context of the need for import substitution of technological solutions. The stages of reverse engineering of technological equipment are detailed, the shortcomings of using reverse projects are identified. Attention is paid to the development of the created support infrastructure and increasing the efficiency of implementing reverse projects. The principles of financing through a grant mechanism of support from the state are identified and the criteria for participation in projects are presented. The ways to level the shortcomings of the implementation of reverse engineering are outlined. The characteristics of the indicators of the implemented and supported design solutions based on reverse engineering are given.
