A QoS Guaranteed Routing Framework based on Software-Defined Satellite Networks

Software-Defined Satellite Network (SDSN) has become a research hotspot in recent years due to its advantages of flexible configuration, high fine-grained forwarding, and low on-board resource consumption. To meet the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements of users, this paper proposes a QoS guaranteed routing framework based on SDSN, which enables the controller to consider both the link state and the real-time QoS of each individual flow when formulating routing policies. For each flow, online optimization is employed for path updating to meet the QoS constraints in real time. In addition, the proposed method is compared with existing schemes on NS3, and the results show that our method can reduce the end-to-end delay and improve the QoS satisfaction rate of networks.
