Indoor U6G Channel Measurement and Small-Scale Fading Characterization
The Upper 6 GHz (U6G) band offers significant broadband and robust coverage advantages, meeting the requirements of sixth-generation wireless communication systems. This paper analyzes the multipath parameters and cluster parameters of the U6G band under indoor single-input single-output (SISO) systems based on the Saleh–Valenzuela (S-V) model. We apply the Newtonized orthogonal matching pursuit algorithm to extract the primary paths, derive the power delay profile (PDP), and calculate the root mean square (RMS) delay spread. Additionally, we conduct a multi-cluster analysis based on the S-V model, and fit multi-cluster parameters for different locations of transmitter in the hall scenario. Our measurement results present the parameters of small-scale fading characteristics of the U6G band in indoor environments, providing a reference for subsequent theoretical research and practical applications.
