A Fast Demodulation Algorithm for Co-Frequency Mixed Signals Based on Pre-decision

Extracting component signals for co-frequency mixed signals with the same or similar modulation parameters remains a significant challenge. A pre-decision method is proposed to address this issue by utilizing the signal enhancement phenomenon of two MPSK aliasing signals, and a single-channel blind source separation (SCBSS) algorithm based on the pre-decision is put forward. The simulation results demonstrate that, compared with the competing algorithms, the proposed algorithm can significantly reduce the complexity and ensure the demodulation performance.

Abstract

Extracting component signals for co-frequency mixed signals with the same or similar modulation parameters remains a significant challenge. A pre-decision method is proposed to address this issue by utilizing the signal enhancement phenomenon of two MPSK aliasing signals, and a single-channel blind source separation (SCBSS) algorithm based on the pre-decision is put forward. The simulation results demonstrate that, compared with the competing algorithms, the proposed algorithm can significantly reduce the complexity and ensure the demodulation performance.
