Bisphosphonate compliance in Japan from the perspective of product, formulation, and patient characteristics: analysis of medical insurance claim data
This study generated new data regarding product-specific MPRs, and clarified that product selection influences patient compliance. The study also supported previous findings that sex, age, and dose frequency influence compliance. It is expected that the findings of this study will be utilized for drug development, drug selection and patient guidance in clinical practice, to improve the treatment environment for osteoporosis.
