Effect of cold deformation on physical and mechanical properties of 08Kh18N10T steel under short-term loading
The results of experimental studies of the characteristics of 08Kh18N10T steel under short-term loading are presented. Particular attention is paid to the effect of deformation heredity on the physical and mechanical properties of steel. It is shown that the resource of plasticity under creep and the time to fracture are a function of the heredity of the stress-strain state. The pre-cold-deformed material has increased strength properties under short-term tension, the hardening effect is removed by increasing the test temperature. It is found that at heating temperatures below 750 °C, there is a decrease in the heat resistance of cold-deformed 08Kh18N10T steel. This data can serve as a basis for updating the maintenance of oil refining units in order to ensure their reliability and durability.
