Application of die tooling heating in isothermal forging technology on 50 MN press

The manufactured induction heating unit for die tooling for a vertical hydraulic press with a force of 50 MN for stamping of critical purpose products is considered. The computer model for describing of electromagnetic and thermal processes is described. The results of a natural experiment on heating the die tool and the results of calculations on the computer model are presented. The energy costs for heating of the die tool, spent on traditional and proposed technologies, are compared.

The computer model for describing of electromagnetic and thermal processes is described. The results of a natural experiment on heating the die tool and the results of calculations on the computer model are presented.
