Tens nailing in 25 years old female with a femur shaft fracture and known case of hypothyroidism: A rare case report

A 25 years old female diagnosed with right femur shaft fracture and is a known case of hypothyroidism with associated clinical features of muscle fatigue, muscle weakness and weight gain. In this case, due to overweight patient had a trivial fall which led to fracture. Generally, in adult femur shaft fracture occurs due to high density force like motor vehicle accidents or trauma. Thyroid disorders have been linked to an increase in osteoporotic fracture and thyroid hormones plays an important role in regulating skeletal development in children and bone homeostasis. In adults thyroid hormones are necessary for healthy skeletal growth and bone metabolism when they hormone malfunctioning, occurs they can negatively impact bone structures.
