Research on Green and Low-Carbon Development of the Maritime Industry under the "Dual Carbon" Goals

Under the guidance of the "Dual Carbon" goals, promoting the green and low-carbon development of the maritime industry has become a widespread consensus. Based on an overall review of the achievements made in China's maritime industry towards green and low-carbon development, this paper analyzes the three main challenges currently faced by the maritime industry in its green and low-carbon transformation. It proposes countermeasures and suggestions to further promote green and low-carbon development from dimensions such as improving top-level design, strengthening technological innovation, and deepening integration. These recommendations aim to provide strong support for the transformation and upgrading of the maritime industry under the "Dual Carbon" goals.
