Research on factors influencing deformation of deep soft soil subgrade and control technology
Deep soft soil subgrades are susceptible to environmental impacts from neighboring engineering activities, such as excavation and foundation treatment, which can lead to significant deformation and potential disasters. In response to the environmental impact of neighboring engineering construction on deep soft soil roadbeds, this article analyzes the effects and mechanisms of vacuum combined preloading and foundation pit engineering on the deformation of such subgrades, respectively, as well as the resulting pavement diseases. Subsequently, measures and techniques for controlling the environmental impact of deep soft soil subgrades were summarized, and based on the factors affecting the deformation of deep soft soil subgrade, they were divided into three categories: (1) vacuum preloading technology and construction control, (2) foundation pit design and construction control, and (3) improvement of the working performance of existing subgrade. The results can provide reference for controlling the environmental impact of engineering construction adjacent to soft soil subgrade.
