Experimental Research on the Strength Characteristics of Marine - deposited Clay - based Fluid - solidified Soil

This paper conducts indoor tests and field verifications on four types of fluidized solidified soils based on marine clay to study their strength characteristics and application effects. The conclusions are as follows: The compressive strength of the four types of fluidized solidified soils increases with the increase of cement content and age. For the fluidized solidified soils of clay and clay & sand, the strength improvement is most significant when the cement content is 17.5%. For the fluidized solidified soils of silt and silt & sand, the strength improvement is most significant when the cement content is 22%. After adding sand, the skeleton role of sand makes the early strength of the solidified soil greater, but due to its poor cohesiveness, the final strength is reduced. When the cement content is 9.5%, the 28-day compressive strength of all types of fluidized solidified soils can reach more than 1 MPa. In practical applications, it is recommended to control the cement content at 10%. The fluidized solidified soil has stable quality, good self-compacting property, high fluidity, high impermeability and no pollution. It can reduce engineering costs and improve construction progress, and meet the needs of green and sustainable development. It is worthy of popularization and application.
