Meteorological Conditions of air Pollution based on MODIS Aerosol Optical Depth in Qinhuangdao
The pollution characteristics, meteorological conditions, pollution transport and meteorological contribution rate of Qinhuangdao were analyzed by using numerical simulation and observation data statistics, combined with MODIS satellite data in 2023. The results showed that the pollution days increased in Qinhuangdao 2023, and the average concentration of particulate matter increased. In 2023, the temperature in Qinhuangdao City was higher than that in the previous year, the pollution level diffusion conditions were biased, the vertical diffusion conditions were favorable, the static stability index was higher than that in the previous year, and the meteorological conditions were slightly unfavorable to the improvement of air quality. In 2023, the annual precipitation of Qinhuangdao was 20% less than that of the same year, and the precipitation clearance effect was not obvious. According to MODIS satellite inversion, the aerosol optical thickness in 2023 had decreased compared with the same period in 2022, and the decrease was more obvious in the south-central part of Changli, the north of Lulong and Shanhaigou District, and the air pollution effect was obvious.
