Carbon Sources and Sinks Dynamics in Shaanxi Province

This research quantifies carbon emissions from Shaanxi Province's energy, industry, agriculture, and livestock sectors adhering to IPCC guidelines. Carbon sequestration is evaluated via land use and crop uptake, analyzed in ArcGIS. Findings reveal escalating emissions, dominated by energy use, with spatial variation. Crop sequestration acts as the primary carbon sink, exhibiting a growth trend. Shaanxi faces a carbon shortfall, progressively alleviating.
