Consider the LVRT capability of wind turbines in microgrid
During the grid connection and power generation process of wind turbine, voltage drops often occur due to grid faults, which may affect the stable operation of the grid. To ensure the stable operation of the grid, wind turbines should have the ability to withstand low voltage. In order to ensure stable DC side voltage during LVRT,a modified grid-side converter control strategy is proposed, which adds a DC-DC converter controlled energy storage system to process the accumulated power during LVRT. This can achieve power balance between the wind turbine and the grid side during the fault period to stabilize the DC bus voltage and improve the LVRT capability of wind power generation system in microgrid. The simulation model of grid-connected wind power generation is built on the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform to verify the effectiveness of the method in suppressing fluctuations in DC side voltage.
