Design and Analysis of an Industrial Grasping Robot Arm

In order to design a manipulator that conforms to the reliability and safety of industrial robots when working, the model of the manipulator is established based on Solidworks by using the characteristics of a hinged four-bar mechanism, and the motion diagram of the mechanism is drawn by CAD, which verifies its rationality. Based on ANSYS Workbench, the manipulator is optimized, the static analysis of the gripper is carried out, the stress and strain of the gripper are simulated under different forces, and the data obtained by finite element analysis are fitted by origin, which clearly shows the changing trend of the stress, stress and strain of the gripper, thus verifying the strength, stiffness and reliability, and determining the rationality of the designed gripper size. The experimental research shows that the manipulator can ensure its reliability and safety under different objects, so it meets the design requirements.
