Disaster Response and Recovery Robots: Enhancing Interaction and Precision in Rescue Operations

Natural disasters, such as earthquakes and floods, create hurricanes conditions that hinder rescue operations. In response to these challenges, disaster response and recovery robots have been developed to enhance safety, efficiency, and precision. This study examines their design, application, and integration, focusing on improving interaction and operational precision. Through model design, sensor integration, and AI training, the research addresses challenges such as obstacle avoidance and data collection. Findings indicate that while current robots excel in durability and versatility, improvements in battery life, navigation systems, and AI capabilities are necessary for optimal performance. The findings highlight the significant potential of these robots in future disaster response and recovery operations, emphasizing their role in saving lives and minimizing human risk. Moreover, this research not only contributes to the advancement of robotic technology in disaster scenarios but also provides valuable insights for policymakers and rescue teams to better prepare for and respond to natural disasters, potentially reducing the loss of life and property.
