Novel CuCo 2 O 4 photonic crystals for optical hydrogen sensing: catalyst-free detection and mechanistic insights <i>via in situ</i> Raman spectroscopy
We report the proof-of-concept optical sensor based on a photonic crystal of CuCo 2 O 4 and its mechanism using in situ raman spectroscopy. The detection of hydrogen gas, an emerging promising fuel, is achieved with novel and stable oxide without any noble catalyst or thermal activation.
