Nickel/photo-cocatalyzed three-component silylarylation of electron-deficient alkenes

A nickel/photo-cocatalyzed silylarylation of electron-deficient alkenes was developed, providing direct access to β-silyl-α-aryl propionates via radical Si–H bond activation with complete chemoselectivity and excellent functional group tolerance.
