Genres of Drama in Goran's Poetry Collection (Operetta and Piece in a Short Screen)
Dramatic poetry encompasses all characteristics of poetry, genres and elements of poetry, which presents a dramatic text in a poetic form to readers and viewers, and strives to enhance society and promote individual awareness. This genre aims to present the reality of society through tragedy and comedy. This study employs the analytical-practical criticism method to showcase Goran's skillful and experienced use of various genres and elements in his poetry. By his adept manipulation of the genres of drama, Goran has been able to introduce another form of poetry into Kurdish literature, known as dramatic poetry, similar to the great changes he made in the field of poetic form and content. Goran adeptly employs various genres and elements to showcase his poetic texts, particularly in his collection of poems, "Operetta and Piece in a Short Screen," in which he tailors the type of genres of drama to suit the subject and context. In other words, whenever he needed any of the genres of drama, he made them the main subject in order to serve his poetic message and purposes. Especially the perspective of personality, in which the poet has been able to even align the names of the characters with their roles, thoughts and behaviors, which in turn mirror the Kurdish society. This explains the poet's goal and intention, which he wanted to serve Kurdish literature in different ways through this genre, like other genres of poetry and children's literature, etc., while raising public awareness through his messages. Goran's deliberate deployment of dramatic elements extends to setting, dialogue, and conflict, each strategically employed to enhance the poetic impact.
