Synthesis and Optoelectrical Properties of Diene‐Containing Diketopyrrolopyrrole‐Based Quinoidal Small Molecule
Abstract A new diene‐containing quinoidal small molecule DPPT‐Q was synthesized based on 3,6‐positions vinyl‐flanked DPP unit, and comprehensively characterized. It exhibits multiple redox properties, enabling its reduction to radical anion and dianion through sequentially adding tetrabutylammonium borohydride, with the absorption wavelengths extending to 1318 and 841 nm, respectively. In addition, the LUMO energy level of DPPT‐Q is as low as −4.15 eV, endowing it with air‐stable n ‐type charge‐transporting characteristics.
