The Image of Pushkin in Russian Literature and Journalism as an Indicator of the Mood in Society and the Personal Qualities of the Author
The author of the article examines Pushkin's work in the context of his personality traits as an inexhaustible source of interpretations of any historical events. It can be stated that Pushkin, like the Bible, became a universal source of inspiration and confirmation of their own ideas for authors from different eras, as well as for representatives of different political forces. Gradually, different images emerged in Russian Pushkiniana: talented Pushkin, civic Pushkin, native Pushkin, playful Pushkin and suffering Pushkin. This created the opportunity for a kind of juggling of "different Pushkins" depending on the demands of the moment, the author's mood and the political situation. The author examines the transformation of the image of the Sun of Russian poetry in the texts of different writers and poets - from the first reactions to his death to modern assessments - and shows, using examples from the works of authors from different eras, how contradictory and voluminous the poet's personality is, from which everyone can extract what they need.
