Exploration and Practice of Engineering Ideological and Political in Electronic Information Engineering

The construction of ideological and political education in college courses is an important measure to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. This paper explores and practices the ideological and political construction of the electronic information engineering specialty, emphasizing the importance of integrating ideological and political education into professional courses to cultivate compound engineering and technical talents. It proposes the construction concept of "engineering ideological and political education", constructs the construction path of an ideological and political case database, excavates cases from multiple aspects such as historical figures' deeds and technological breakthrough events, and builds a new education model. Taking the professional core course "Principles of Communication" as an example, the teaching content and ideological and political cases are integrated and embedded into classroom teaching, subtly realizing the integration of moral education goals and educational goals, and promoting the coordinated development of professional education and ideological and political education.
