The Application of Nanomaterial-Based Drug Delivery in Cancer Therapy
The effective delivery of drugs is crucial for the treatment of diseases. Due to the unique size advantages and characteristics of nanomaterials, they can effectively enhance the delivery efficiency of therapeutic agents to their target sites, maximizing the minimization of off-target rates in drug delivery. In cancer treatment, nanomaterials can achieve drug-targeted transport and combination therapies for tumors through functionalization, which holds important implications for enhancing the efficiency of cancer treatments. This article summarizes the advancements and challenges encountered in applying nanomaterials and technology for drug delivery both in vivo and in vitro, contributing to a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the role of nanomaterials and technology in drug delivery.
