Research on the path of digital transformation of digital economy enabling traditional industries
As the economy becomes increasingly digitalized, exemplified by the extensive use of technologies like big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, many companies have acknowledged the significance of digital transformation. This paper examines the factors, pathways, and impacts of how the digital economy facilitates the digital transformation of traditional industries by reviewing and synthesizing domestic and international literature. The findings indicate that the enabling factors of the digital economy can be categorized into internal and external elements. The pathways through which the digital economy supports the digital transformation of traditional sectors include technology integration and innovation, digital platform development, and the establishment of industrial ecosystems. The consequences of this transformation are chiefly seen in enhanced production efficiency, reduced costs, expanded market reach, and improved competitiveness. This research provides valuable insights for studying the digital economy and the digital transformation of traditional industries.
