Research on the Influencing Factors of Subjective Well-Being in 'Citywalk' Tourism Contexts: Evidence from Nanjing in China
This research aims to investigates the factors influencing subjective well-being in Citywalk tourism. Using structural equation modelling, we found that the destination has a positive impact on tourists' well-being, which is conveyed through emotional states during tourism. Thus, we verified the mediating roles of tourist satisfaction and place attachment in the relationship between destination image and well-being, which has not been addressed in previous studies. In addition, tourism involvement plays the same role as destination image. These insights are anticipated to contribute to the research on Citywalk tourism and offer policy recommendations for enhancing the sustainability of Citywalk tourism development.
