Interdependent Existence: Research on the Protection and Development of Fengzhou Traditional Landscape Cluster Based on Holistic Preservation

Against the broader backdrop of holistic protection and development of historical and cultural cities, "concentrated and contiguous" and "regional collaboration" are key focuses in the protection and development of traditional landscape areas in Quanzhou Province. However, these efforts face multiple practical challenges. This paper targets the architectural cluster of Fengzhou's traditional landscape area, exploring the main issues and protective development strategies. Additionally, based on the theory of concentrated contiguous protection and development, the paper analyzes Fengzhou's traditional landscape cluster, highlighting its "interdependent existence" characteristics. This study aims to provide insights and developmental direction for the sustainable future of Fengzhou's traditional landscape cluster.
