Quantitative Analysis of Process Assessment in Improving the Teaching Effectiveness of the Course “Fundamentals of Photoelectric Technology”
To a certain degree, process assessment has improved students’ enthusiasm and placed more emphasis on the process of learning. After exploration, the Fundamentals of Photoelectric Technology has formed a mixed examination mechanism of online, offline, in class, and out of class. Using Delphi theory to determine knowledge, ability, and quality as evaluation indicators for teaching effectiveness, and then determining the weights of teaching effectiveness indicators based on Analytic Hierarchy Process. Selecting two typical teaching experimental classes, a quantitative analysis was conducted on the improvement from three aspect: knowledge, ability, and quality. The results showed that process assessment had a more significant effect on improving both ability and quality.
