Design of a Cut Chrysanthemum Harvester

In response to the issues in the cut chrysanthemum production process, where harvesting is primarily done manually with tools, leading to high labor costs and low efficiency, this paper has designed an automatic cut chrysanthemum harvester. The harvester consists of a running system, a harvesting system, and a control system. The running system allows the machine to move forward, backward, turn and brake under the synergistic action of the remote control and the line-following sensor. The harvesting system cuts the lower stems of the cut chrysanthemum. The control system controls the machine to run and stop. The application of the prototype has demonstrated that the machine has a simple structure, low manufacturing cost, and is easy to use and maintain. It can effectively reduce the labor costs associated with manual harvesting of cut chrysanthemums, ensuring the quality of the harvest while significantly improving the efficiency. It is suitable for the harvesting of large-scale planted cut chrysanthemums.
