Mechanism of Rural Income Generation in Zhambyl Region

The state of income of the country's population is characterized by a negative trend. Despite the growth of nominal incomes, the dynamics of increasing real incomes of the population is decreasing. The main sources of income for rural residents include income from employment and income from self-employment. For rural residents, there is a higher proportion of income from independent employment than for the urban population. The article considers the results of the implementation of a pilot project to increase the income of the rural population in the Zhambyl region, the effectiveness of the use of household plots, the development of yard animal husbandry, an increase in the level of income and produced products. On the basis of statistical data, an analysis of the implementation of the Development Program of the Zhambyl region was carried out, the relationship of problems of income level, quality of life and socio-economic development of rural areas was considered.
