A comprehensive study on structural, transport and magnetic properties of novel inorganic perovskite for multifunctional applications

In recent years, significant research has focused on perovskite materials, which have shown great potential as lead-free alternatives for energy storage applications . This study investigated at the structural, microstructural, vibrational, electrical, dielectric and magnetic characteristics of the (YFeO 3 ) 0.5 (BaTiO 3 ) 0.5 material. The intended perovskite sample was developed using the standard solid-state route. The Rietveld refinement analysis of the XRD data suggests that the sample crystallised into two phases. The surface texture of the sample was examined using FE-SEM imaging and the EDS spectra along with color mapping revealed the constituent elements present in the sample. The vibrational properties of the sample were analyzed using RAMAN and FTIR spectroscopy , which confirmed the atomic fingerprints within the material. We used LCR meter to investigate the dielectric and related properties over various frequencies and temperatures. Additionally, the magnetic response measured at room temperature confirmed the material's ferromagnetic nature. Based on all the investigations conducted, it can be concluded that the developed perovskite is a promising candidate for energy storage devices and magnetic storage devices.
